On behalf of everyone at Impact HR, thank you to all who attended the 3-hour virtual Workshop on the 29th April. We hope attendees made some fruitful connections during the workshop and learned something new about leading in an increasingly complex COVID-19 world by, developing confidence in leadership skills to build teams and businesses for success now and after post COVID-19.
On Friday 29th May Therese Ravell, Director of Impact HR, the Institute of Managers and Leaders Australia and New Zealand (IML ANZ) and Victoria University came together for a joint event attended by approximately 50 students ‘Set Yourself Up for Career Success’. We were impressed with how many participants have adapted to this ‘new’ virtual world and that the sense of community is so strong. Nice to see that although we may be isolated, there are ways of staying connected. Students praised the virtual event saying, “I just wanted to say thank you for the great chat from earlier. I actually messaged my old careers mentor after the chat, asking to pick his brain on job hunting in the upcoming months, owing to the advice given in the online event.”
