DEVELOPING LEADERSHIP SKILLS

Introduction to Leadership

Transform your business through developing your people

Grow in your role as a leader with the confidence and self-awareness needed to engage and motivate your team

This highly-immersive and practical short course will help managers, team leaders, and business owners develop a greater awareness around what leadership behaviours they do well and their opportunities for growth.

Program Overview

Who is this for?

Anyone with responsibility for leading and managing others, who wants to develop their effectiveness as a leader, particularly new or emerging leaders, line managers, and high-potential executives.

What will the course cover?

In this highly immersive short course you will learn:

  • The difference between managing and leading
  • How to cultivate an Authentic Leadership style
  • The role of mindset and emotional agility
  • How to create and implement a personalised leadership development plan
What's included?

This course follows a hybrid training format, which includes pre-learning, online training, group discussion, and the creation of a self-development plan to address skill gaps and opportunities for further growth.

Pre-learning: you will receive a selection of learning resources to read/watch before the first session.

Training Session 1: this is a 2-hour group training session that draws on the insights gained in the pre-learning work. It will cover the topics outlined above and you’ll participate in break-outs and whole group discussion to share insights and support each other’s learning. At the end of this session we’ll introduce a framework for creating your personal leadership development plan, which you’ll complete before the final session.

Group Training Session 2: two weeks later, you’ll attend a 1-hour group training session. Each participant will share two key insights learned about leadership as it relates to them. This is often one of the biggest learning opportunities as you need to reflect on what is most helpful for your development and you’ll learn from listening to other participants’ insights. When this course is run in-house, it helps build a high-performing team as it creates trust and a better understanding of how the team can work well together.

What's my investment?

The investment for the public course starts at $695 for our early bird rate. If you would like to run the course in-house, please get in touch to discuss how we can create a bespoke version to meet the needs of your organisation.
