Who is this for?

Anyone who is leading and managing others and wanting to achieve greater team performance and business performance through coaching: business owners, executive leaders, emerging leaders, line managers, high-potential executives.

  • Knowledge of coaching traps to avoid.
Course Content

We know that becoming an effective coach takes practice, so this program involves a series of small group MS Teams workshops and peer coaching practice sessions. Key content we will cover includes:

 

  • What coaching is and is not.
  • Benefits of coaching
  • Characteristics and skills of a great coach
  • The GROW coaching model
  • Empathic listening skills
  • Perspective taking skills.
  • Framing and reframing skills
  • Powerful questioning skills
  • Self-Awareness, leadership and coaching
  • Coaching verses other leadership styles
  • When to coach in the workplace
  • Coaching traps to avoid.
  • Barriers to coaching in the workplace.
  • Adapting your working style for coaching
  • 3 x Peer coaching practices and feedback sessions
  • 1 x 45 min session where you will be coached by an experienced coach.
What's included?

Option 1 – Coaching for Performance (Fortnightly program)

  • Pre workshop call
  • 6 x 2-hour workshops run fortnightly via MS team (3 of these will involve supervised peer coaching practice)
  • Short assignments between sessions
  • Feedback on your coaching from an experienced coach
  • Ongoing support between workshops via email or phone
  • 1 x 45 min follow up coaching session 1 month post workshops to help you remove barrier to progress
  • Networking with peers
  • Resources and templates to support you in your development as coach and access to low cost 1 hour masterclasses to continue your development with peers

 

Option 2: Coaching for Performance (weekly program)

  • Pre workshop call
  • 8 x 1.5 – hour workshops run via MS teams weekly (3 of these will involve supervised peer coaching practice)
  • Short assignments between sessions
  • Feedback on your coaching from an experienced coach
  • Ongoing support between workshops via email or phone
  • 1 x 45 min follow up coaching session 1 month post workshops to help you remove barrier to progress.
  • Networking with peers
  • Resources and templates to support you and access to low cost 1-hour masterclasses to continue your development with peers.
When is the course on?

Program 4 (fortnightly program) – 6 x 2 hrs. session starting Thurs 2nd May, Thursday 16th May, Thursday 30th May, Thursday 13th June, Thursday 27th June, Thurs 11th July – 9.30am to 11.30am

Program 5 (weekly program) – 8 x 1.5-hour sessions – Starting Thursday 6th Jun and running fortnightly until 25th July from 12.30pm-2pm
