Thanks for 2025

Do you remember what it was like as a child at this time of year? Every day seemed to take an eternity. The final 5 days leading up to Christmas were as long as the rest of the year. Now, the time flashes past and suddenly I’m preparing for the Australia Day again!  

Regardless of how busy it gets I always put aside time to reflect on the year that was. As a business owner, with a long to do list that never seems to get shorter, pausing and celebrating the achievements is essential for the entire team.  

I always say that our biggest achievements are the ones that do not get the celebration they deserve. For example, helping clients resolve team member conflict, seeing someone achieve a development milestone that they didn’t think they could or supporting managers to have the conversation that they had been dreading.  

However, we also have many more visible things to celebrate.

This year the Impact HR team:

• Welcomed Natasha Gray to our team  
• Launched Leading with Impact 
• Supported more than 100 different clients 
• Provided advice across 48 different industries 
• Shared 65 blogs to keep you up to date and across best practice 
• Created new training based on legal requirements and client requests 
• Recruited 8 roles for our clients 
• Participated in The Business Show and got to meet an amazing array of fellow business owners 
• Won 4 Awards, including the prestigious Australian Small Business Champions, HR Services and finalist in 2 more 
• Formed 3 new partnerships that further enhance our services 

We’ve achieved all of that while creating a supportive place to work and having fun together as a team.  

I feel fortunate every day that I am able to work with such amazing business owners and the fabulous Impact HR team. Thank you for being part of the year that was 2025.
