A Year with Impact

Time is a weird concept. 2024 has flown by. Here we are again at the end of another year! As I reflect on the year that has been the word that resonates the loudest for me is GRATITUDE. 

I am grateful for the more than 60 active clients who have worked with us throughout 2024. Whether you are a client with a larger team needing consistent support, or smaller business with infrequent requests for advice, I am proud of the work we have done together. We have made your workplaces more productive and happier!  

I feel fortunate to be able to continue serving the more than 200 clients who have worked with us in the past and still rely on Impact HR for regular updates and our annual award summaries. This year the high number of changes in HR legislation has continue to cause concern for some clients about being compliant. The Impact HR team now supports across more than 25 industries. My ongoing work as an advocate for our small and medium sized business community has been requested and willingly provided to share your experiences and make meaningful changes.  

I am blessed to have the amazing team of Impact HR around me. Each of our team brings so much to our shared knowledge, skills and capacity to do good in the world. They step up to support you and me in so many ways that I can’t even start to list them. Together we’ve shared more than 70 blogs to keep you informed. We’ve given freely at Spark Festival, Small Business Events and in our Training. Some of you will have heard me talk about being the small pebble that creates big ripples across the lake. Every time one of the team creates a better outcome for you and your teams, those ripples go out to your clients, families and broader communities. Small actions can have a big Impact. That is why we are called Impact HR.  

Every year has challenges. At the start of this year my broken collarbone and my husband’s injury hit our family hard. Your understanding and support as I learnt to work effectively while unable to drive and type etc., was inspiring. Thank YOU! 

I am also lucky to have the awesome support of communities around me that make running a business easier and more enjoyable. Once again too many to list them all. My family, friends, the Bx Community, the HERBusiness community top the list of those I am grateful for in my life.
