DEVELOPING COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Conversations not Confrontations
Transform your business through developing your people
Nothing changes if we chose not to have a conversation about an issue or concern
Difficult conversations are a part of life and as business owners and leaders, it can sometimes feel more comfortable to avoid having a “confrontation” with a team member. Unfortunately, ignoring the problem for too long, or altogether, can have a negative impact on the success of your business.
Who is this for?
Anyone who would like to learn the skills needed to have a difficult conversation without it feeling confrontational.
What will the course cover?
In this half-day course you’ll learn how to re-frame your thoughts around difficult conversations so you can prepare appropriately and provide an opportunity for both parties to speak openly and confidently and co-create a positive outcome.
- Re-frame your thinking about difficult conversations
- Create an environment where both parties feel comfortable to speak openly and honestly about challenging topics
- Maintain a solution-focused approach for the conversation
- Notice the emotions coming up for you and the other person and manage your response
- 1 x 3.5 hour workshop
- Networking with peers in other industries and functions
- Resources to support you in your development as a leader
- Access to our complimentary webinar series for Impact HR clients
